A R Rahman becomes our first best bet for an Indian success at the Oscars.
The moment I heard the biggest news "A R Rahman gets 3 Oscar nominations for Slumdog Millionaire."
One nomination for the best original score,
the two are for the best original songs - "Jai ho" and "O saya". I think he is the first Indian to get 3 Oscar nominations at a time.
Being his great fan even the nominations are simply a big treat.
With his outstanding work, the Oscars are finally making it a way to our Indian cinema.

Sure an Oscar for his score in Slumdog... will add luster to his career and
his remarkable achievement will make India proud.
