Passanger Review

These days it’s quite argumentative that the whole Malayalam film industry is lacking standards and is in its past its best... we are compromising the definition of good film to suit to the mediocre and second-rated films out in the theatres so that at least we will get a fistful of films in the good films category…but this time the viewer can take a break and say hey, this movie is good. And surely the film shown justice the viewers in many ways may be in all the ways…

Passenger, with a strong message stands out and is a must watch movie... its shot differently and the director never tried for any peppy masala numbers to keep the viewer stick to the chair...hats off to his courage… A long way to go for the novice director Renjith Shankar

The film is simple and smooth…the film is about the accidental happening that occurs to the life of a train passenger Srinivasan...one day of events... the way dileep walks into his life...

The shots are taken simple and beautifully from the everyday life with no added gaudiness of extra color or camera work… the suspense is added only in a light dosage...not in breathtaking taking amount... still it is enough to keep u in the chairs…

Dileep and Srinivasan is again with Midas touch...they are doing theater role well… the comedy although it’s just for a very small time , will surely bring to smile to ur lips..All others are doing their roles perfectly…

The last word is that the film is a must watch movie…It’s not a hi-fi entertaining fast movie….it’s simple...its smooth flowing … and its true of its own .. it’s a little slow moving movie…but it got the pace of what a normal men’s one day could be.. No actions, no stunts, not even a song (L)…. But the film is strong with the strong message and a rating of 3-3.5 /5 is no exaggeration….

Jai Ho - A Review on A R R 's live in concert

I am really happy to write a review on ARR's live in concert Jai Ho. My lifetime wish, my dream come true on May 3 @ Corporation stadium, Calicut, that I saw maestro and heard his voice.

Jai Ho, the very first concert after receiving the double Oscar. The concert was so enthusiastic and awesome one. But there were some troubles with the sound system, in the early minutes of the show. From my point of view one of major drawback is the orchestr. The orchestra on the stage was not the one I expected, that is A R Rahman's orchestra. The superb orchestra of ARR was replaced by a few inexperienced fellows. Only the DJ person rocked. He was superb in mixing the songs.

The intorduction of ARR was gud. Some of the songs sung by maestro are
O Saya (Slumdog Millionaire)
Athiradee (Sivaji, with Sayanora)
Urvasi (Kaathalan)
Musthafa (Kaathal Desam)
Khwaja Mere (Jodha Akbar)
Arziyan (Dilli 6)
Yuva (Aayudha Ezhutu)
Jai Ho
Vandemataram
From the above list Khwajaji and Arziyan were too gud. He was in religious Muslim costumes with a cap on his head, with a harmonium. 'Musthafa' was very interactive, that he told us, the viewers, to sing with him.

Hariharan, also, was very interactive. He told viewers to sing with him and finally he diverted that into the song Ay Hairathee from Guru. He also spoke in malayalam, was funny.

ARR's sister A R Rahana also appeared on the stage, to talk about their father. She invited Chithra to sing one of the songs composed by R K Shekhar, their father.

Atlast ARR sung the song Jai Ho and deviated it to Vandemataram. Overall the show was so awesome and the audience gave a gud support. But it will be much better if it was held at Kaloor stadium, I think.
